Ahmir ’Questlove’ Thompson fit 101 afro picks in his afro at once, a new world record. He placed all the picks in the afro himself, receiving no outside assistance. Thompson achieved the feat on June 25, 2009 in New York City while taping a URDB segment for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Michael Bennett has a world record four patches of natural gray hair. Bennett’s hair was documented on May, 28 2009 in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. Erica Hess was present as a witness.

Pearl Cohen put up ten ponytails in one minute, a new world record. She used her mom’s hair to achieve the feat. Cohen set the record on April 4, 2009 at the first annual Brooklyn World Record Day in Brooklyn, New York. The event was held by URDB in conjunction with Beam Camp.
