Aaron L. ran a distance of 66 kilometers (41.01 miles) while wearing a gas mask. He set the record during the 40th Marine Corps Marathon. The event was held to raise awareness for the 22 veterans a day who commit suicide. Aaron served in the Marine Corps for 15 years and was a suicide and crisis negotiator during his time.
